The Living Room

Our Haus is more than a company — it’s a collaborative space where haus-mates (freelancers, facilitators, team) and guests (our clients) build formats that make cybersecurity stick.

Gamification drives higher engagement and retention (+54 % gains over passive methods).

Visuals turn abstract discussion into concrete decisions (400% boost in understanding over text alone)

Exercises build reflexes that prepare you to act under pressure.

We use service design principles to make sure these formats are not only creative but also usable, aligning with real needs in countries, companies, and communities.

Each project of the Haus embodies these principles. Together we make tough policies usable and change the looks and feels of cybersecurity.

  • We are facilitators, designers, creators and developers teaming up with security professionals.

  • Cyber Policy Haus was founded by German Cybersecurity Policy Analyst Julia Schuetze in the heart of Europe - Gent - in October 2023. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, Cyber Policy Haus connects the policy and security ecosystem with designers, artists and content creators to develop solutions for tricky policy challenges.

    • Honest → rooted in transparency and trust.

    • Accessible → simple, clear, and human-centered.

    • Diplomatic → bridging divides across cultures and hierarchies.

    • Community-driven → co-created by haus-mates and guests.

    • Innovative → fast, smart, and bold enough to challenge the status quo.

    • Receptive → listening deeply and adapting to real needs.
