Who does what in cybersecurity? Decide, debate, and find out. Cybersecurity Architecture & Governance - The Game is a card-based learning game that helps players understand who actually does what in cybersecurity.
The game has been used in workshops with cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, and critical infrastructure stakeholders.
How does the game work?
Players work in two teams and explore real actors, institutions, and past cyber situations. For each scenario, they decide who was responsible, who acted, and how coordination actually worked.
The game invites players to debate roles and responsibilities, compare governance approaches, and reflect on the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity architectures.
After each round, the facilitator reveals what actually happened supported by our browser-based digital facilitator package, the facilitator can refer to practitioner quotes, reflection questions, and sometimes videos or articles from the real events.
The team with the most accurate understanding of the governance system wins.
The game focuses on system understanding, decision-making, and discussion.
